Apply to Perform at TEDxOrlando
TEDxOrlando is looking for performers to be part of our 2026 flagship event and upcoming salons. While TEDx is known for ideas worth spreading, performances also play an important role in shaping the experience of a TEDx event.
What kind of performer are we looking for?
We are looking for artists whose work can bring energy, emotion, and originality to the stage, whether through music, dance, or another live performance format.
We are looking for performances that feel polished, intentional, and right for a TEDx audience. This is not about filling time between talks. It is about selecting artists who can contribute something memorable and meaningful to the overall event. If you have a strong live act and feel your work would be a good fit for TEDxOrlando, we would love to hear from you.
Will my performance be filmed?
All performances will be professionally filmed, in the same way TEDx talks are, and uploaded to the official TEDx YouTube channel.
How long is the performance slot?
Performance slots are approximately 20 minutes, dependent on the performance and the event.
Do I need to be located in Orlando?
We would love to showcase Orlando-based performers where possible. Ideally you should be based in the Central Florida area, but this is not a strict rule. Please apply, and let us know where you are based and what your connection to Orlando is.
What happens after I apply?
Shortlisted performers will be contacted by our team for the next stage of the selection process.
