These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the TEDxOrlando website and your participation in TEDxOrlando events. TEDxOrlando is an independently organized TEDx event operated under license from TED and produced by Story Circle LLC, a Florida-based company (“we,” “our,” “us”). By purchasing tickets, attending the event, or using our website, you agree to these Terms.

1. TEDx License

TEDxOrlando is operated under license from TED Conferences LLC (“TED”). TEDx events are independently organized, and TED is not responsible for any actions, statements, or operations of TEDxOrlando.

2. Tickets & Registration

  • All ticket sales are final unless otherwise stated.
  • Tickets are non-transferable unless explicitly permitted by the event organizer.
  • Admission requires a valid ticket and may be subject to security checks.
  • We reserve the right to refuse admission or remove any attendee who disrupts the event.

3. Refunds & Cancellations

  • Refunds are only issued if the event is canceled by us.
  • If the event is postponed, tickets will be valid for the rescheduled date; refunds will be offered if you cannot attend.
  • No refunds for partial attendance or unused tickets.

4. Event Content

  • Speakers, performers, and schedules are subject to change without notice.
  • The views expressed by speakers are their own and do not necessarily reflect the views of TEDxOrlando, Story Circle LLC, or TED.

5. Photography, Video & Media

  • By attending, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded.
  • We may use your likeness in event coverage, promotional materials, and online content without compensation.
  • Personal photography and social media sharing are encouraged, but commercial recording requires prior approval.

6. Intellectual Property

  • All TED and TEDx trademarks are the property of TED Conferences LLC.
  • Event materials, videos, and presentations are protected by copyright and may not be reproduced without permission.
  • TEDx talks may not be edited, altered, or sold.

  • TEDxOrlando is committed to creating a respectful, safe, and inclusive environment.
  • Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.
  • Violators may be removed without refund.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • Attendance is at your own risk.
  • We are not liable for personal injury, property loss, or damages, except as required by law.

9. Website Use

  • You agree not to misuse our website or engage in unlawful activity.
  • We may restrict or terminate access for violations of these Terms.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. The updated Terms will be posted here with a new “Last Updated” date.
